Driver’s Ed for Life™ Lab

Most of Us Were Taught How to Drive a Car.

Very Few of Us Were Taught How to Drive a Life.

And yet each day we are doing something unusual.

We are both the driver and the vehicle.

Welcome to the Lab!

A four-session guided exploration of awareness, energy, direction, boundaries,

and the foundations that help us navigate life more intentionally.

Catherine Chadwick is a registered nurse, applied positive psychology practitioner, transformational coach,

and creator of The Sunshine Quotient®

and The Art of Self Craftsmanship®.

Much of Catherine’s work centers on translating complex ideas about awareness, energy, and human behavior into practical frameworks that people can use in everyday life.

Over the years she has become known for her ability to synthesize insights from a wide range of fields — including health, psychology, personal development, and lived experience - and distill them into simple metaphors

and tools that illuminate how we navigate our lives.

Driver’s Ed for Life™ is one such framework, emerging from Catherine’s ongoing exploration of how the “systems” of life interact and influence the way we move through the world.

Her work invites people to become more conscious drivers

of their own lives.

What We'll Explore

During the lab we’ll explore several elements that influence how we navigate the road of life:

Driver → Awareness & Choice
The role awareness plays in how we interpret experiences and make decisions.

Engine → Energy & Vitality
How physical, emotional, and mental energy power our movement forward.

Steering → Values & Direction
The priorities and principles that guide the direction of our lives.

Brakes → Boundaries & Discipline
The limits and structures that help us stay safe and aligned.

Tires → Foundations & Stability
The practical supports that give us traction and steadiness on the road.

Fuel → The Ultimate Mind Diet™
The thoughts, information, and influences we allow into our minds - and how they shape our experience of life.

We will also consider elements such as mirrors, the dashboard, and navigation, because just like a vehicle, a life operates as an interconnected system.

What You’ll Walk Away With

Participants in the Driver’s Ed for Life™ Lab will gain:

A clear and memorable framework for understanding how the “systems” of life work together.

A visual map of the Driver’s Ed for Life™ model that can be used for ongoing reflection.

Practical insights into awareness, energy management, boundaries, and direction.

Guided questions that help illuminate where adjustments may support a steadier journey and how to implement those adjustments.

A deeper appreciation for the idea that life - like any vehicle - requires attention to multiple systems working together.

Why a Lab?

The Driver’s Ed for Life™ experience is intentionally structured as a four-session lab rather than a single workshop.

Learning how to navigate life’s systems — awareness, energy, direction, and boundaries — benefits from space to reflect, explore, and integrate.

Just as learning to drive a car takes practice and attention over time, learning to navigate life more consciously unfolds through conversation, reflection, gradual insight and implementation.

The lab format provides that space.

Who This Lab Is For

The Driver’s Ed for Life™ Lab may resonate with you if you are:

navigating a period of transition or change

seeking greater clarity about direction or priorities

interested in understanding how awareness and energy influence your life

curious about practical frameworks for living more intentionally

drawn to thoughtful conversations about how we navigate modern life

You do not need to have everything figured out to participate - none of us do.

The lab is designed for people who are curious, reflective, and open to exploring the systems that shape their lives.

WHAT SOME PREVIOUS CLIENTS HAVE HAD TO SAY

ABOUT WORKING WITH CATHERINE

If the metaphor resonates with you - if you feel that life may be asking you

to become a more conscious driver - you are warmly invited to join the

June 2026 Driver’s Ed for Life™ Lab.

Sometimes even a small adjustment to the steering, fuel, or tires can change the entire journey.

You’re already behind the wheel.

Now it’s time to understand both the driver and the vehicle.
